Habit #4: Think Win-Win! This cache is NOT at the location above. To obtain the coordinates for this cache, you need to locate the six other caches in this series and obtain a clue from each one i.e. this cache (#4) is located at S 27 34.ABC E 152 53.XYZ (and apply the offset in the Hint.) If you've arrived here after finding the other six caches... well done! If you arrived here by jet-ski... you've also done very well!
Think 'Win-Win'! Geocaching is meant to be a fun, outdoors activity for individuals, friends, and families of all ages, and I've certainly had heaps of fun and adventure through people I've met, places I've been, things I've seen, physical challenges I've overcome, etc, etc. One of the things which attracted me immediately to geocaching was the idea that this is a game or sport which is fundamentally about generosity. Cache Owners and Travel Bug Owners are putting their property out there in the wild for others to enjoy, in the expectation that it will be looked after. So it's time to think Win-Win... * What could you leave here to create a 'win' for others? * Or how could you turn this cache into a good experience for more people than just yourself? In case you're stuck, here are some ideas: *Write a lengthier log than usual in the logbook and/or online for the CO and others to enjoy! *Use your log for this one to list one or two other great caches which people should be encouraged to visit! *Bring along some great swag to swap or add to the ammo tin! *Give a shout-out to a geocacher you know who does good deeds for geocaching! *Suggest something that may bring people into more enjoyment of the game e.g. "Have you ever listened to the Podcacher podcast?" *Drop off a Travel Bug or Geocoin for a little holiday here! If there are some spiky vines growing in this GZ that could be removed, or if it could use a little more covering, I'd invite you to think of a way to leave it in better shape for the next visitor! Thanks for playing today and enjoy your geocaching!
