We'd appreciate a FAV Point too if you deem this cache worthy!

Welcome to this historic cemetery in Dutch Flat. Depending on the length of walk you are looking for you can park either on the lowest level or up one or two levels higher to shorten your walk.
This cache has been placed in honor of my father MY HERO (Edgar W. Frutchey the 4th) On October 13, 2000 he passed very suddenly from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma with only a short 9 days in the hospital. I was 21 years old at this time. My Dad was my best friend and an amazing man. He believed in service to his God, his family and to his fellow man before himself. (You might get this impression from his headstone which contains the scout law plus HUNGRY which we added) He was famous for his campfire dutch oven cooking. He was my scout leader and mentor. His was a Renaissance Man who studied Civil War U.S. history and enjoyed teaching it to all he met.
Our family chose this cemetery in Dutch Flat to lay him to rest, because of it's beauty and historical significance. Dutch Flat is also where my aunt, my Dad's sister lives...Many of the people laid to rest here passed as early as the mid 1800s, something that my Dad would have been intrigued by. We knew this was the place for him. I have no doubt that the others laid here were heroes as well to so many. We placed a drift wood bench at his grave site not only for us to sit as we reflect about Dad but for others as well to rest their tired legs from the hill climb. Thank you for visiting today, if my Dad had a voice, I'm sure he would be sayin a loud "hello!" and "have a seat!" upon your arrival! He always made sure that everyone felt welcome.
Please secure the cache and cammo covering as good or better than you found it in the same spot.It is not hidden anywhere on the grave plot or in the bench so no need to walk or look there. If the log is full I would appreciate it if you would place a fresh piece of paper in for me, as I don't know when I will be up again
