Klenkes means "pinkie". Erecting the little finger (not the middle one) of the right hand is the traditional token of the people from Aachen, the Öcher. It reminds us of the industry of needle production which had been widespread in the region for a long time. Defective needles were sorted out from the assembly line by a typical motion of that finger. This part of the production process was called "ausklinken" - hence the word of the local dialect for that part of the body. Many Öcher having been doing this all their life developed a typical deformity and could thus be recognized by their crippled finger. Today, many decades after the decline of the local cloth and needle industries, you can still happen - let's say: in Katmandu - to spot two people greeting each other by holding up the right hand and showing their pinkie. Don't fear for their health, but you will instantly know where they come from.
If you happen to pass by N 50 44.991 E 006 03.468 on Sunday, 11th of September 2016, you will find some Öcher geocachers having a good time together and celebrating themselves and their hobby by an event - the Klenkes - held yearly and having also become traditional - as it has to issue some caches on the day of the event. -
Put the correct colours into the grey squares 1-20 and use the checker (Certitude), filling in the respective letters (with a hyphen between the games, i. e. after every fifth letter; e. g. "abcde-fghij-klmno-pqrst"); if you are right, it will tell you the final coords. Read the hints given by the black and white dots: "White" means: correct colour, false position; "black": correct colour and position. Mind the slightly varying rules. Game A*: no empty squares, no repeated colours (*additional rule: see hint); Game B: no empty spaces, repeated colours allowed; Game C**: empty spaces allowed, no repeated colours (**Attention! There are two correct solutions. The Checker will tell you if you have found the one it prefers); Game D: empty spaces allowed (one at most), repeated colours allowed.

Wer kennt nicht das gute alte "Superhirn"? Findet die vier richtigen Farbkombinationen in den grau unterlegten Zeilen heraus, indem Ihr die Hinweise in den Zeilen darunter richtig deutet; eine weiße Raute steht für eine richtige Farbe an falscher Stelle; eine schwarze Raute bedeutet, dass Farbe wie Position korrekt sind. Beachtet die leicht variierenden Spielregeln:
Spiel A*: keine Leerfelder, keine Mehrfachverwendung von Farben
Spiel B: keine Leerfelder, Mehrfachverwendungen erlaubt
Spiel C**: ein Leerfeld obligatorisch, keine Mehrfachverwendungen
Spiel D: Leerfelder erlaubt (maximal eines), Mehrfachverwendungen erlaubt
*Zusatzregel: Beachte den Hint.
**Achtung! Es gibt zwei richtige Lösungen; wenn Ihr eine gefunden habt, gebt sie in den Checker ein; entweder akzeptiert er sie, oder er fordert Euch auf, auch noch die zweite zu finden.
Wenn Ihr die richtigen Farben bestimmt habt, setzt die entsprechenden Buchstaben in der Reihenfolge 1-20 in den Checker (Certitude) ein und fügt nach jedem Spiel, also immer nach fünf Buchstaben, einen Bindestrich ein (Bp.: "abcde-fghij-klmno-pqrst"). Im Erfolgsfall verrät er Euch die Finalkoordinaten.
