This cache is on the Warners Bay section of the Great North Walk, frequented by many users in this area. At this location you are near one of the few spots where you can see furtest to the south (ie past Cams Wharf). This is my first placement after about 500 finds.
As a child I used to live directly accross the road from here. And things have certainly changed in the last 60 years. the road used to be a single lane dirt road, and many a car left the road to finish in the water. There was no walking track/path along here and we would come across the road to walk on the water pipes that are still here.
