This cache is located along the Airline Trail in Lebanon, CT. The trail in the area is flat with very interesting points of view along the way.
A good place to park is on Rt. 87 in Lebanon Ct where the Airline Trail intersects.
The Airline Trail is an old railroad bed which is now used for walking, biking and horse riding. It is named the Airline Trail because when they originally made the railroad in the 1800's the land was elevated for drainage purposes and the passengers had a treetop view while riding the train. It seemed like they were riding in an airplane.
