Ushiku Iris Garden
The area of the garden is approximately 8,000 m2. About 200 kinds of 10,000 irises are planted in the garden. They are in full blossom in June. Many tourists visit here to see them and enjoy walking in the country.
The Lake Ushiku has the legend of the Kappa. You will see some objects in connection with the legend around here. This cache is placed near a Kappa. The cache container is a Tupperware with the inner capacities more than 1L. There is a seal with GC code (GC6N4KM) on the cache container.
Some GCers will find the cache using above mentioned information. If you need some more information, a clue for the cache is placed on an observatory deck. There is a public restroom in the garden whose 2nd floor is the observatory. From the observatory, you can look around the iris garden. Because the clue is placed on the second floor, please do not take the doubtful action on the first floor. It will be quite dark in this area at night and the restroom will be closed. Please stop coming at night.

牛久アヤメ園
この公園は、総面積8,000m2の敷地に約200品種、1万本のアヤメ・花菖蒲・カキツバタが植えられていて6月ころには満開になり、観光客であふれかえります。駐車場やトイレが完備されていて、南へかっぱの小径という道が延びており、河童の碑までおよそ1kmの田舎道の散歩を楽しめるので、アヤメの季節でなくても一年中多かれ少なかれ訪問客があります。
牛久沼には河童の伝説があるので、周辺にはそれにちなんだものがいくつか設置されています。このキャッシュは河童の近くに設置しています。コンテナは1L以上の内容積のあるタッパーウェアです。コンテナにはGCコード(GC6N4KM)が記載されています。
以上の情報でキャッシュを見つける方もおられると思いますが、もう少し情報がほしいという方のために一応手がかりを展望台に置いておきました。公園には公衆トイレがあり、その二階は展望台になっています。展望台からは、アヤメ園を見渡すことができます。アヤメの季節に来ると素晴らしい景色を楽しむことができます。手がかりは二階にありますので一階で怪しい行動はとらないようにしてください。夜間はトイレは閉鎖されますし、真っ暗になり景色が楽しめないので(いろんな意味で)夜の訪問はお控えください。
