Geocache Description:

1, 2, 3.  You must listen before you leap into this one.  Then find it.  Then solve it. OK BW is a blend of listening at the first stop, plain ole "Geo Sense" at the last stop, then a puzzler to solve to access the logbook.  Decent views of Lucky Jim Bluff as well.

This cache is not at the posted location.  However, located in the Edelweiss Community you will find the first (virtual) "stop".  You will pass by another cache, Shirley You Must Be Kidding", GC30M50 on your way in. You may not even need to stop at Stage 1 if your your hearing is good somewhere up to around 107.1 mega decibels.  No need to get out of your car to pick-up the information needed for the next leg if your ears are "tuned-in to your surroundings". Additional subtle hints are included in Stage 1.

The cache is located outside of Edelweiss.   There are 2 roads to the cache from within the community.  The cache is located on NF-100 which is a fire service road in need of repair and is NOT recommended North from Goat Creek Road.  The cache is located between the two cattle guards on NF-100.  There is parking and several chairs available (nope already stolen) for working out the log book puzzler.  The cache is not accessible during the during the snow season, but that may change down the road, so to speak.

Note: My HOA has placed signs up to limit access. You are my GeoGuests so please keep speeds and dust to a minimum!

Once you find the cache, please leave the outer container in place.  Take the inner container out and away from the hidey hole.  You will need to puzzle out how to access the logbook. Please be gentle to the puzzler.  No force is needed, only a bit of the noodle and use of the fingers to "wiggle" the puzzle pieces.

There is room for special swag in the puzzler and more swag room inside the inner cache container.  If you can't access the log or don't have the time or the inclination (impatient youngsters with you), you may sign the Quick Logbook located in the inner cache container.

If you are stumped on Stage 1, GEOmail me for the helper webpage.

Special prize for the FTF located inside the puzzler, redeem at our favorite local eatery ( Mazama Store).

Our nearby cache, "Trillium Trail" has the coordinates listed inside of the front cover of the log book. This information enables you to skip the first stage, though we certainly would like you to have the complete experience. That first stage is very unusual around these parts.

This cache is my "tip of the hat" to other local cachers who have provided all of us with many high quality caches for years here in the North Methow Valley.  They have provided that spark to get me back into the game (again) and to do more then read the occasional finder's log
