GuN #05: Aussichtskanzel Traditional Cache

Ihr befindet euch nun direkt auf der Aussichtskanzel am Hochganghaus auf 1839m.

Im Jahr 1909 stellte der Marlinger Bauer Josef Menz das erste Schutzhaus an dieser Stelle fertig. Anschließend übergab er es an seinen Sohn Anton Menz. Dieser eröffnete das Gebäude 1910 als Touristenhaus. Weil es sich in Privatbesitz befand, wurde es nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg nicht wie die Alpenvereinshütten enteignet.

Da die in der Nähe gelegene Lodnerhütte 1923 dem Club Alpino Italiano übergeben worden war, bemühte sich die nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg gegründete Sektion Meran des Alpenvereins Südtirol um Ersatz für ihre Mitglieder und konnte das Hochganghaus von 1947 bis 1979 in Pacht nehmen. Seither wird es wieder privat von der Familie Erlacher bewirtschaftet. Seit 2010 ist ein Neubau neben dem alten Schutzhaus in Betrieb.

Im Jahr 2013 wurde das alte Gebäude von der Südtiroler Landesregierung unter Denkmalschutz gestellt.

Das Haus ist Ausgangspunkt für einen Weg nach Westen zur Sattelspitze und nach Osten über die Taufenscharte zur Mutspitze. Direkt oberhalb des Hauses gelangt man zum Hochgangschartl. Von hier erreicht man die Spronser Seen, nach Osten die Spronser Rötelspitze und nach Westen den Tschigat und weiter über das Halsjöchl die Lazinser Rötelspitze.

Nel 1909, il contadino di Marlengo Josef Menza questo punto costrui il primo rifugio. Poi ha consegnato il tutto al suo figlio Anton Menz. Ciò ha aperto l'edificio nel 1910 come una casa turistica. Si come è stato di proprietà privata, il rifugio non è stato espropriato dopo la prima guerra mondiale.

Dal momento che la vicina Lodnerhütte nel 1923 era passata al Club Alpino Italiano, che è stata fondata dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, la sezione di Merano del Club Alpino Alto Adige ha cercato di sostituire i propri membri ed è stato in grado di prendere in affitto il Hochganghaus dal 1947-1979. Da li é stata privatizzata e presa in carico dalla famiglia Erlacher. Nel 2010, un nuovo edificio é stato costruito accanto al vecchio rifugio.

Nel 2013, il vecchio rifugio é stato dichiarato monumento nazionale dal governo dell'Alto Adige.

La casa è il punto di partenza per un percorso verso ovest fino alla Sattelspitze e ad est sopra il Taufenscharte verso la Mutspitze. Il sentiero direttamente sopra la casa porta al Hochgangschartl. Da qui è possibile raggiungere i laghi di Sopranes, ad est la Rötelspitze di Sopranes e verso ovest il Tschigat. Piú avanti passando il Halsjöchl si raggiunge la Lazinser Rötelspitze.

You now find yourself directly on the viewing platform at Hochganghaus to 1839m.

In 1909, the farmer Josef Menz the first shelter at this point ready. Then he handed it to his son Anton Menz. This opened the building in 1910 as a tourist home. Because it was privately owned, it has not been expropriated as the alpine huts after the First World War.

Since the nearby Lodnerhütte was in 1923 the Club Alpino Italiano passed, which was founded after the Second World War section Meran of the Alpine Club South Tyrol tried to substitute for its members and was able to take on lease the Hochganghaus 1947-1979. Since then, it will again privately farmed by the family Erlacher. Since 2010, a new building next to the old shelter is in operation.

In 2013, the old building of the Government of South Tyrol was declared a national monument.

The house is the starting point for a path to the west to the Sattelspitze and at east over the Taufenscharte to the Mutspitze. Directly above the house leads to the Hochgangschartl. From here you can reach the Spronser Lakes, to the east the Spronser Rötelspitze and westward to Tschigat and on about the Halsjöchl the Lazinser Rötelspitze.
