Teatown's Session I Nature Girls made, planned, named, and hid this Geocache along the trails of Cliffdale Farm, where for some reason, there is a startlingly small number of them. Inside, you will find some beautiful pinecone ornaments that they designed and painted themselves. This cache is placed in honor of a common garter snake known as Feisty, named for the manner in which he angrily chomped down on a camp counselor's hand upon his capture, leaving her with an enormous bruise. It stands as a testament to the incredible wildlife one is able to encounter here at Teatown, and to the truly unique hiking experience you can't get anywhere else. Please enjoy yourselves as you wander and be sure to take time to observe and notice all the beauty this preserve has to offer. And if you see Feisty the Snake, please give him a big hello for us!
all geocachers must check in to the administration building before seeking the cache and the administration building is open dawn to dusk daily
