7 Parks in 7 Days - Turkey Creek Hammock Preserve Cache In Trash Out® Event

Join us for CITO week 2016 as we work on cleaning up around Gainesville!

When I saw CITO weekend was extended to CITO week, I thought it would be awesome to actually host a CITO week event, or as it turns out, events!  We're working with the City of Gainesville, Alachua County, Alachua Conservation Trust and the Florida State Parks Service to host a week of CITO events around the Gainesville area!

Come to one, or better yet, come to all!

For this CITO, we will be working in Turkey Creek Hammock Preserve which will open to the public in early 2017.  We'll be helping with some trash in the preserve to help get it ready to open.  This is a preserve that we've done a trash clean up in (and there will be at least one more before it opens (stay tuned for details)) and it connects with San Felasco State Park.  We will meet at the posted coordinates at 8:30 AM and we will work until noon or however long it takes to get exhausted.
