Griffith Woods Wildlife Management Area is home to a unique habitat, not readily found in central Kentucky. The habitat is representative of a blue ash-oak savanna woodland that was common of the bluegrass region around the time of European settlement. The WMA is open to most hunting seasons, but the current hunting guide should be consulted before hunting on the WMA.
