The Champ and I were out enjoying the beautiful Jennings State Forest. You never know who you may encounter. We have met up with lost Boy Scouts and their Guides and provided them a ride back to their camp, often horses and riders are out and about, families playing in the river and plan 'ol Mother Nature at her finest. Along our travels we pass a small cemetery. It is full of many of the same family names who, based on the headstones, have a long time history in the Middleburg area (although I couldn't find much information on them.) I always feel a sense of peace when I'm caching in and near a cemetery, but have cached with others that get the creeps or are very uncomfortable in the same areas. Hopefully, you'll find tranquility at GZ and not fear, but either way, please show respect to those who have passed before us and again, there isn't a need to enter the cemetery to retrieve this smiley.
