Norsk:
Fra E6 ta av på Vestisidevegen, 2 km nord for Dovre, 10 km sør for Dombås.
Parker vest for Toftemobrua etter å ha krysset Lågen noen hundre meter fra E6.
Stien til Kristofferholo er meget tydelig merket, length 1.2 km.
Kun en grind skal passeres helt i starten av turen, husk å lukke grinda det går dyr på beite i sommersesongen.
Det meste av stien er meget lettgått selv om det er kontinuerlig stigning.
På slutten av turen er det brattere og mer ulendt, men fortsatt en enkel tur for barn.
Selve adkomsten til selve hulen går i utkanten av steinura og er ufarlig, men legger man ut på oppdagelsesferd rundt selve hula skal man være obs på at mosedotter kan skjule sprekker og at man fort kan falle 2-3 meter ned fra de store steinene.
NB: Det er ikke nødvendig å gå ut fra merket sti for å finne denne cachen.

From E6 take the "Vestsidevegen", 2 km north of Dovre, 10 km south of Dombås.
Car can be parked after crossing the Toftemo bridge, a few hundred meters from E6.
The path to Kristofferholo is very clearly marked all the way, length 1.2 km.
It should only be required to enter one gate during the trip, remember to close the gate as animals are present during the summer season.
Most of the path is very easy although with continous inclination.
The last part of the walk is steep and rough, but still a simple walk for children.
The access to the cave is in the outskirt of the ravine and is not dangerous.
The surroundings of the cave can be fun to explore, but keep in mind that moss can hide big crevices between rocks and that drops of 2-3 meters from the big rocks is possible.
Please note: It is not necessary to venture outside the marked path to find this cache.

Start ved Toftemobrua på vestsida av Lågen.Ta første veg til venstre,så første til høgre. Følg veg opp til eit jorde.Gå opp på nordsida av dette langs ein skogsveg. Følg denne til ei grind der du går opp til venstre. Følg merking opp gjennom skogen til Kristofferholo.
Kristoffer Flagestad frå Lesja var prestesønn.Han drap naboen sin med øks i 1656,og vart dermed fredlaus. Han budde nok i "Holo" meir og mindre i 7 år,til han vart fanga. Han vart dømd til å "Misse Hugu For Sver,Kroppen Leggjast paa Hjul og Hugu Setjast på Staakaa".
Syster has Kristoffer var gift på Tofte,Og mest truleg hjalp ho han med mat ol.
Han var den siste fredlause i Dovre/Lesja og den siste som vart avretta.Det skjedde på Ulvehushaugen på Dovre i 1663.

"Holo" har vore til nytte i seinare tid også. Ragnar Ulen fortel at under bombinga våren 1940 var det mange frå nærområde som søkte dekning her.

Start at Toftemo bridge on the west side of river Lågen. Take first dirt road to the left and then first to the right (through gate). Follow the road up to a field. Walk on the north side of the field on a dirt road. Follow the road to a gate where the path takes off to the left. Follow the marking to Kristofferholo.
Kristoffer Flagestad from Lesja was the ministers son. In the year 1656 he killed his neighbor with an axe, and was declared an outlaw. He lived in the "cave" on and off for 7 years until he was captured. He was then condemned to beheaded by sword, body to be laid on a wheel and head on a pole.
Kristoffer's sister was married to Tofte (across the valley) and was most likely helping out the outlaw with food etc.
He was the last outlaw in Dovre/Lesja and the last to be executed. This happened at Ulvehushaugen in Dovre in the year 1663.

"The cave" has been used also in recent time. During the bombing in spring 1940 many people living close by seeked refuge in the cave, source Ragnar Ulen.
