I am an avid bow hunter and archer, its a passion of mine to find deer both to hunt and to watch. With the vast National Park on my doorstep I have put down the bow in exchange for binoculars and a camera in hopes of seeing these massive creatures. In my search for a good vantage spot on fringe country I found a great view and a tree eating the solid granite ground under it where I glassed for several hours. I have seen several deer on my trips "up the hill" you may be luckey enough to see one. There is a small swappable for you at the Cache along with a log sheet and a note. The container is red plastic, stored in a natural shelf and is about the size of your palm, it is not covered or concealed and you will know the spot when you see the tree tearing up the ground, although be warned, your GPS may take you too low or too high given the nature of the steep terrain. There is only one way in or out of the GZ unless you're a monkey or mountain goat. Expect a steep climb!
