Come & meet some fellow geocachers on Saturday August 20th, 2016; 10:30 am - 11:30 am, at beautiful Nelles Beach Park in Grimsby, ON. This park is home to a peaceful Lake Ontario shoreline.
This event is in honour of a much loved pa (grandpa), who passed away 10 years ago. He enjoyed picnics here with his grandchildren Meagan & Michael.

Rhubarb was one of his favourite items to eat.

I will be serving homemade rhubarb cake for all to enjoy!

There is a nice beach here if you wish to go for a swim, stroll along the beach, sit at the beach, read a book, play in the sand, collect beach glass or children will love to play in the playground. There are a few porta potties here. This park is a hidden gem. There are many caches in the area to be found; if you choose to do so.
Please let me know if you plan to attend & how many in your party, so that I know how much cake I need. Everyone who tries this cake loves it & wants the recipe. Don't be skeptical if you don't like rhubarb, I dislike rhubarb, but I love this cake!
