There seemed a decided lack of caches on this part of the River Mole in Surrey.
Accessed via River Lane in either direction you come across a delightful little island on the River Mole only accessible on foot/bike by bridges both sides.
There is a small parking place to the South West, but you could do a quick cache and dash from the North East if you drive further down the road to park.
The Local Nature Reserve Board calls the island, Fetcham Splash. Kind permission to place this cache was obtained from the Tree & Countryside Officer, Mole Valley District Council, 21st July 2016
When the island was first visited it seemed a quiet spot, however when coming to actually place the cache at lunchtime in late July it was found to be muggle infested! On returning gone 8pm the same day and parking at the waypoint lots of bathing costume clad young muggles were seen leaving the area barefooted with various inflatables! They were soon gone and the area was a place of quiet tranquility once more.
So be warned, and choose your timing accordingly as the cache is placed in what can be a busy place! I was loathed to find a more secluded hiding place as the hint was just so perfect for a number of reasons.
Finally, there is a small meadow which you can walk through via a kissing gate, useful if GZ is muggle infested. There are lots of trees there with greyish leaves (see photo gallery), I believe they are Grey Poplars but if anyone knows better please let me know in your log.
