9/21/23-Checked this place out. I can't believe they fenced the entire park area in. According to the park district, things will be done sometime next spring/summer. I myself wouldn't waste a trip. I am mulling over what to do here.
This cache used to be under a Knack box. Looks like the park district took out the horseshoe pits & the host. Coords maybe off by 5 feet for the new host but I'm keeping them for now.
There is plenty to do for everyone here year round. Playground, picnic area, basketball, baseball, field hockey, ice hockey, sled hill, horse shoe pits, frisbee...but one thing this place was missing is a geocache or 2. Now, I would say this place is complete. Hope you agree.
