Hi, I'm Radu and on July 1st 2017 I plan to go on a Geocaching Bike Trip across Europe. The plan involves cycling over 6500 km across 15 european countries to find at least 2000 geocaches. The route is planned to target some specific caches starting with: T5 climbing caches, really old caches, virtual and webcam caches, caches with many FP and then, all the other ones in between. Also I will be hosting events along the way, so I can meet as many local geocachers as possible.
I am using „project-gc” a lot in planning this amazing adventure and it's on their facebook page that I found out about the MEGA event in Linkoping this November. It was then when a crazy idea came to mind: what if we came to this MEGA also? It would be so lovely to meet some Swedish geocachers and maybe to meet the people behind projetc-gc.
Yes, me and Jun3 will be traveling from Odense (Denmark) to Linkoping (Sweden) in order to attend the MEGA event. We will make a brief stop in Malmo so I figured "Hey, why not make an event here?".
It is not our first time in Sweden or in Malmo. I guess you have seen my name in the logs a few times already in the past. But it is the first time I will be hosting or attending an event here, so I really look forward to meet some of you, as many as possible. Since it's quite a turistic place, it would be awesome to meet some non-local geocachers as well, maybe, who knows, on your way to the MEGA also.
So don't be shy, come and let's have a short meeting while we wait for our connecting train. I placed the event close to the Central Station so we are sure to catch our train in time. Event is set for 14:10 and it will take only half an hour - 40 min max. Feel free to bring TB that you want to be discovered or maybe need to travel north to Linkoping or west to Denmark
