On all these stages, please replace cache as you found it and make sure you close the top tightly to keep things dry inside.
I believe in truth in advertising so I think the title says it all. You're under no obligation to attempt this cache so don't get mad at me if it proves frustrating (read the title again). Then again, I know some of you cachers out there thrive on ridiculous challenges.
This is a 9 stage multi that will keep you mostly on the Ontario Pathway trail system. You can hike it if you wish, but that might take a lot of time. You can also bike the trail (please observe the rules put forth by the organizers).
Stage 5 is a decon container. All the other waypoints are camouflaged micros.
Waypoint one is very close to active railroad tracks. The cache container is on the Ontario street (south of the tracks) side. You should not cross the tracks for any reason. Please keep children and pets away from the tracks.
For WP5 and WP8, you must access from the South
A detailed trail map with some parking areas noted can be downloaded at http://www.ontariopathways.org/map.htm.
The difficulty of each stage does vary from easy to devious. But, I think you are rewarded with the view from the final waypoint. Some of the waypoints may be impractical to attempt during winter. Use good judgment and happy trails!
Here are some things you may want to have on hand when you go in search of the various stages: water, a hat, bug spray, good walking shoes (or a bicycle or cross country skis depending on the season), water proof shoes or waders in wet seasons, infinite patience with the cache owner.
Once you know the location of the final cache, if you wish, subtract 500688 from the longitude. The result is my phone number. Send me a TEXT (I don't answer phone calls I don't know). If I'm available, I'd like to meet you at the final parking area and treat you to ice cream or an adult beverage for going to all this trouble
Major congratulations to Eyeash for FTF. I enjoyed meeting you and sharing some stories over a well deserved adult beverage
