This is number 3 of my area caches and first on this part of the trail..
- This small cache is located on the newer 'Wonderland Lake Loop' trail, across from the 2 acre lily pond.
The Wonderland Lake Loop provides a real glimpse into the rich flora and fauna of the local ecosystem and at 30 to 60 minutes for the entire loop, is the perfect intermediate hike for those wanting some light exploration
- There are a few benches around the pond to enjoy the water and serene green forest.
- Level of Difficulty: Beginner/Intermediate with some steeper stepped sections
- Distance: Approximately 1.6 km return
- Estimated Time: 30-60 minutes for entire loop
- Elevation Gain: Descends 35 m to lake level
