Hibernation Traditional Cache

The cache is hidden on the route of the Lady Hunter Blair Walk, in the wooded Lambdoughty Glen which is beautiful in any season.

For a delightful walk, park in Straiton village and follow the route of the Lady Hunter Blair walk. This will take you to the Lambdoughty Glen with its towering trees and gushing waterfalls. The largest waterfall (30ft high) is known as the Rossetti Linn because the celebrated poet and painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828 - 82) was once thought to be contemplating suicide there. Alternatively for a quicker cache and dash  or a shorter walk park further along the B741 at the start of the wooded glen.
