This cache is located at a roadside pullout right next to shell falls. Vehicles less than 25 feet in length can park right at the cache container. Vehicles larger than 25 feet must park at the additional way-point for parking I have listed.
The ranger led interpretive site is open 7 days a week, 9 AM to 5 PM from Memorial day till mid September. Dogs are prohibited from the ranger buildings and the boardwalks for the exception of service animals. This is a great location to stretch the legs and get a traditional and a nearby earthcache. The container is a small container with a screw top lid. This container is large enough for a few small TB's or geo-coins. The highway is open year around, though can be shut down in winter until the snow plows get out to clear it. There are several items in the cache to start it off.
