[ITA] La statua del fante si erge di fronte all'edificio rappresentante il Politecnico di Torino. E' tradizione che, il giorno dell'ottenimento del diploma, il/la giovane neolaureato/a si rechi nella piazzetta della statua e dia il via ai festeggiamenti con l'apertura della tradizionale bottiglia di champagne. Potreste vederne qualcuno se passate di qua in un giorno durante le sessioni di laurea (in particolare a marzo, a luglio, in ottobre e a dicembre).
Noi oggi festeggiamo il nostro amico Gabriele, che finalmente può uscire dall'edificio del politecnico, magari guardarlo proprio come il fante, e ripartire con un nuovo inizio!
[ENG] The statue of the infantryman rises in front of the building of the Politecnico di Torino. There is a tradition that, the day of the obtainment of the diploma, the graduate student goes in the little square of the statue and starts the celebrations with the opening of the traditional bottle of champagne. You could see someone doing so if you come here in one day during the degree's sessions (particularly in March, in July, in October and in December).
Today we remember our friend Gabriele, that can finally go out of the building of the polytechnic, even to look at it just as the infantryman, and statrt over with a new beginning!
