On October 15th we'll be hosting a brief Meet and Greet starting outside the Denver Firefighters Museum. There, we'll be chatting about all things geocaching while exchanging / discover trackables. At 10:30 AM SHARP we'll walk to a nearby fire station where we'll be taking in the sights (we've arranged for a tour/visit (subject to firefighter availability)). We'll then head back to the museum and give away a couple of unactivated geocoins/trackables including a highly collectable Geocaching Colorado gold geocoin and a Cryptosporidium tag.
After the event, several of us will be taking advantage of the Museum's Free Day and also grabbing the gadget cache in the lobby if anyone is interested!
Event Schedule (Don't be LATE!)
10:00 AM - Event Begins
10:30 AM - Walking tour over to Fire Station 1 (including a visit/tour, subject to availability)
11:45 AM - Return to the posted GZ
11:50 AM - Raffle off prizes and optional caching and free museum exploration for anyone interested
As this event is happening in downtown Denver, please allow yourself extra time to find a parking space nearby or consider the use of public transportation. There IS parking across the street but I don't know what it will be like on a Saturday morning.
