Ez a láda Kiskanizsa szívében helyezkedik el a városrész két világháborúban elesetteinek emlékére állított hősi emlékmű mögött.
A HŐSI EMLÉKMŰRŐL: Az emlékmű a helyi civil szervezetek, a Honvédelmi Minisztérium Hadisír Gondozó Irodája és a helyi önkormányzat együttműködésével készült a két világháború hőseinek emlékére.
SARLÓS BOLDOGASSZONY TEMPLOM: 1716 ban a város közössége kápolnát emeltetett a látogatást tevő Szent Szűz Mária (Sarlós Boldogasszony) tiszteletére. Ezt a kápolnát annak leégése után újjáépítették, de csakhamar kicsinynek bizonyult, s ezért új templom építését határozták el. A temetőkápolnát szentélyként megtartva 1872-ben Sarlós Boldogasszony templomot építettek, s az 1870-80-as évek sokat foglalkoztatott helyi építőmesterét, Hencz Antalt bízták meg a városi bérház után a kiskanizsai templom építésével is. Később az épületet még egyszer kibővítették. Nyitva: Hétfő – Péntek: 9:00-14:00, Szombat: 9:00-12:00, Vasárnap: zárva.
PUNCS FAGYIZÓ: mármár helyi nevezetességnek számít, mennyei kézműves fagyiik vannak. Munkaidő után dugig van helyiekkel (sőt más városokból is sokan járnak ide fagyizni), úgyhogy a cache leszüretelésekor mindenképpen kapcsold be a lopakodó üzemmódot!

This cache is situated in the quasi centre of Kiskanizsa, behind the monument that co-memorates those local heroes who died during the two world wars.
CONCERNING THE MONUMENT: It was built in 2000, as a result of the joint efforts of local civil societies, the Ministry of Defence and the municipality of Kiskanizsa. The monument co-memorates those local heroes who died or disappeared during the two world wars. For those who wanna grab the essential ideas engraved in the stones, here is a rough translation of each. (There are some rhymes there that I could not reproduce – sorry for that.) The rock of „The Heroes of the Army” reads: „Let the military ideals be given due respect and let us be given the spirit of the glorified and the help of the Hungarian God.” (Count Miklós Zrínyi, poet and military leader.) The central board reads: „In memoriam of those inhabitants of Kiskanizsa who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, erected in the memorial year of Hungarian millenium”; „And wheresoever we may perish / Grandchildren those graves shall cherish / Singing our praises in their prayers / To thank us that our names are theirs.” (a quote from our National Anthem by Sándor Petőfi, translated by George Szirtes); „citizens of Kiskanizsa and the Municipality of Nagykanizsa. 1999-2000.” The board that co-memorates the Hungarian Millenium reads: „For the 1000-year anniversary of Hungarian christianity and our king St. Stephen’s foundation of the state, organization of the church and coronation.”
VISITATION OF OUR LADY CHURCH (SARLÓS BOLDOGASSZONY TEMPLOM): In 1716 the community of the city built a chapel in honor of the visit of St. Mary (Our Lady of the Visitation). After having been burnt to the ground, the chapel was re-built buti t soon turned out that it was too small for the community, thus they decided to build a new church. They kept the chapel as a sanctum and erected the Visitation of Our Lady Church in 1872. After having completed the construction of the town house, Antal Hencz, a popular builder of the 1870s, was entrusted to make the plans of the church building is Kiskanizsa. Since then the building has undergone one further enlargement before reaching its current form. Opening hours: Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday: 9 a.m. till noon. Sunday: closed.
PUNCS ICE CREAM PARLOR: this could also be considered a local „sight”. They have delicious homemade ice-cream. After working hours the place is crowded with citizens of Kiskanizsa (and even other cities’ residents frequent this place), so maximum stealth is required when retrieving the cache.
