Geocache Description:

The cache is placed with permission of the library.  You will navigate your way around the recently renovated main branch (the Raymond Library) of the East Hartford Public Library to locate this cache.  Take some time to look at some of the items on display which range from paintings by local artists to historical artifacts like a tobacco press that is more than a century old.

In order to find the cache's Dewey Decimal number and coordinates, you need to find two numbers, indicated by the letters A and B. A and B are the same number for both the Dewey Decimal and coordinates. You will need to visit two places in the library to discover the information to fill in the letters with the correct numbers.

Dewey Decimal: B7A.62 Z (REF)

Coordinates: N 41° A6.0B5
W 072° 38.618

1.) The first coordinates will take you inside the library to the Children's Section to the Pratt & Whitney Jet Engine on display. In order to find A, what is the first number (A5 kN) of the kN (thrust) of the engine?

2.) The second coordinates will take you to the Wasp Engine located in the Creative Commons on the 2nd floor. In order to find B, what is the second number of the year the first prototype was made (1B25)?
