Hive is a mentally engaging strategy game for two players where the playing area is defined by the pieces themselves. The players each control a selection of creepy crawlies which move in varying ways in an attempt to outwit each other and be the first to capture the opponent's Queen Bee. Fans of the game have affectionately likened it to "chess without a board".
