Härs och tvärsrundan tar dig runt sjön och cacherna är placerade via kajak och tanken är främst att man ska ta den sjövägen. Vissa av cacherna kan troligtvis nås från land, medan andra definitivt kräver båt eller annat flytetyg. Återställ cacherna exakt som de var. Cacherna kan vara tillgängliga under vintern, men det är inte garanterat. Om isen ligger tjock är det möjligt att man kan åka skridskor till gömmorna.

Härsvatten is one of all the beautiful lakes in Svartedalen. The lake is situated in Stenungsund's municipality west of Lilla Edet. The area is characterized by pine forrest with elements of hills and rocky ground.
The lake is situated in Svartedalen that has been struck hard by acidification. The lake isn't treated with lime which means that it is still highly acidified. The acidification brings very high water transparency and you can see around 7.5 meters from the surface. In the beginning of the seventies there was still eel and bass in the lake, but because of the acidification the fish is gone. Nowadays the lake is mostly inhabited by various water insects.
The Härs and tvärs caches takes you around the lake and the caches are placed with kayak and the thought is that you should log the caches from the lake. Some of the caches might be avalaible from land, but some of them definitly needs a boat or another float wessel. Restore the caches exactly as they were when you found them. The caches might be avalible during winter, but it is not guaranteed. If the ice is thick you might be able to log the caches by skates.
