We placed this cache in an area that we camp and ride in on a regular basis. We have found a lot of the caches in this area and thought it could use a few more. We came across this spot near one of the campsites we routinely use.
Access to this cache should be pretty easy when the road is open (spring to fall). The forest service has closed a few of the roads near here to all motorized vehicles, so please be sure to follow all posted signs. While walking around the area that we camped in, we came across this really cool spot. There should be plenty of places to park and walk to this cache. There is not a real trail to this cache, but it is an easy walk. Kids should be able to reach this spot; my kids were able to do it easily. There tend to be a lot of people camping in this area, so it the place you walk from may change depending on where people are camping. You do not need to walk through someone's camp to get to this site. However, you may need to use some stealth if there are a lot of people camping in the area. This is a Small to Medium sized cache (an old water bottle). Original Contents Included: Green Turtle, Pumpkin Ring, Invincible Key Ring, Mater Eraser, Brown Horse, Blue Mancala Stone, Googley Eye, Custom Divot Repair Tool and Ball Marker, 1 Red Dice, Christmas Lights, Grasshopper, Phone Clip, Beaded Heart Bracelet, Magnifying Glass. There is also a pencil and a Temporary Log until we are back up there next week (8/5/16) to put in a more permanent logbook.
