The Belly Dancer is the second in our HavaCache Series!
When our boat, Belly Dancer, was brand new (in 1990). We beached it here on this beach and my Mom dressed in a purple belly dance costume (to coordinate with the purple boat) and a photographer took pictures of her belly dancing on the back of the boat.
I was 9 then, and I remember having to lay as flat and still as possible on the floor of the boat with my little sister, so we coudln't be seen in the photos.
Havasu is the spice of life-- The cache is a campflauge covered spice jar. It does have some small toys in it, with room for a few more but it does not have room for a writing utensil, so you will need to have something to write with.
As with any desert cache; whether you are in the middle of nowhere or in town, keep an eye out for the usual harmful suspects (snakes, scorpions, spiders, etc). Please be respectful, as the best geocache hiding spots are sometimes the same places that our small desert dwelling friends call home. Your safety and the safety of wildlife is more important than finding a cache.
Happy Caching!
Congrats to SIXEASY for being the FTF!
