How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

After visiting the Valley of Desolation in Camdeboo national partk, we recommend you go on a short, well-marked hike (45mins).

At the turnaround point, the highest point on the hiking trail, there are beautiful 360° views to be enjoyed.

You don't have to be a mountain goat to get to the cache ;-) It is not necessary to climb any cliffs to get to the cache, no special equipment needed.

Because of the many beautiful buck we saw in the nature reserve, we named this one Bokkies View.

The cache is a 250ml L'N'L container, hidden in the beautiful Camdeboo national park.

Once you have visited the main attraction, valley of desolation, we recommend you also enjoy the hiking trail.

It is clearly marked and will lead you to a high point, offering magnificent views of the national park.

No dangerous climbing needed.

Enjoy the view, as the many bokkies do. :)
