Stroll of the Penguins is a trail around Beccles quay that is approximately 4 miles in length. There are 10 caches in this trail all named after various penguins. The caches vary in difficulty but nothing too difficult. Terrain is mostly flat, but some GZ’s wouldn’t be ideal for pushchairs and the paths can be quite muddy during the winter months. The trail is child and dog friendly, but please be careful near the water’s edge. There may be fishermen along the early part of the walk and the river is very busy with boats during the summer.
These caches are designed to be found in order, but equally can be found individually or in reverse; there are a couple of other caches you may wish to find along the way as you pass them that have been placed by other cachers.
Please bring your own pen as the caches contain log books and small swaps only, please only log as found if you’ve signed the log. Replace caches as found for others to enjoy.
