Are you participating in the Alberta Battlecache 2016? Do you want to see if you won a prize with your shots? Do you want to meet fellow (battle)cachers? Do you want to provide feedback for next year's event? Come to the event wrap up for some fun, coffee and conversation!
The game
The Alberta Battlecache is a fun competition in which cachers can take a shot at the battlecache board with their geocache finds. Like the battleship board game, the objective is to sink all ships on the board. But the fun doesn't stop there, once you sink all ships you can reset the board and keep playing! The battlecache 2016 runs until the end of August 2016 and all finds between June 1 and August 31 are candidates for shots.
It's not too late
If you have not started to play the Battlecache, it is not too late to join in the fun! All your finds from June 1st onwards count and you might find it is very addictive to 'shoot' with your finds! Signup is free and over 275 Alberta cachers have already joined the fun. Click on the big banner above to find out more and to sign up.
The event
At this event we will wrap up this year's battlecache with coffee, cake, some statistics, stories and naturally the drawing of the names of the winners. After the announcement of the winners and handing out of the prices, there will be time to socialize with other cachers and potentially engage in some fun activities. Lots of free parking is available.
Time and duration
The event will start at 10 am and last about 2 hours.
