Our 4 days stay on Third Beach was the highlight of our holiday in B.C. We keep very good memories of this place and definitely would love to hear how you liked the place, either as base camp for a couple of days, either as part of your Nootka Trail trek.
Unfortunately the place has been scarred by loggers. You might consider to add pictures to your log so we can keep monitoring whether the logging continues to do further harm
Getting to the beach is harder than looking for the cache itself. The effort of hiking or kayaking to this location deserves a T5 rating, in my opinion.
