This geocache is located near the Parks Canada Visitors Centre main entrance. This is a multi-cache and you will get further directions. Parking is available.
Inside this multi-cache there are directions to another cache close by! In the second cache you will find a logbook and a brochure from which you can learn about a typical day in the life of a Cree family living in the 1900's at York Factory. York Factory was the most important Hudson's Bay Company Post on the shores of the Hudson Bay and is now a national historic site. After you have found the second cache make sure to give the Parks Canada staff the code word to collect your small prize and be sure to look around and explore the Visitors Centre. Hours of operation can be found by phoning 204-675-8863. Be polar bear aware in this location. For more information on polar bear safety, visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre located at the train station.
