This cache takes you in my opinion one of the most beautiful places in the world. You have been warned that this is a long hike. (Almost 10 kilometers.) But it is 100% worth it.
This cache location is up at lake of the hanging glacier. You can drive to the trailhead. Gets a bit bumpy. ( But my friend did take his mini van!) The best directions opinion on my opinion are at the trailspeak website. Here is the link. http://www.trailpeak.com/trail-Lake-of-the-Hanging-Glaciers-near-Invermere-BC-3021 (Just copy and paste it!) I would really like it if you write in the logs how long the hike took and where your from. By the way this cache is accessible in summer only unless your willing to cross one of the rivers. I noticed there was a small log bridge for when the other one is taken out for avalanches but it might end up getting swept away in one. And my friend told me on a hike rating out of 5 he would give it a 4 compared to one of the hardest hike around here (Mt Fisher) so give yourself plenty of time to get there. It took me about 4 hours to get up, but it may take longer or shorter depending on your physical ability. Enjoy the cache. ( But I'm pretty sure you will like the view more!) Don't stop at my cache.
