Mat's Isle Traditional Cache

As one of my favorite  places to hike and take photos, I always wanted to see it all from a different persective.
Once I got a kayak I had to explore the area from water,
During  my visit I discovered this small island
The cache is named after some writing  spotted on the island.

This cache is on a island within the preserve that requires a boat to reach.
Roadside parking is limited to marked areas and to 2 hours
You will have to carry the boat 900 feet from parking location on the trail to a dock.
The paddle is ~700 feet each way. Tides shouldn't be any issue.
I recommend to check for people fishing in the lake and people bird watching etc
and be courteous of them and there activities before you decide to drag your boat into the lake.
There is a dock to facilitate getting into the water, But there are alternate waterside put ins if you cant manage a dock.
approach the cache from the east side. The homemade cache you seek should be easy to find and fits the "Theme".

I spoke with someone who works for the township , and they told me that they added the dock and canoe stand to encourage people to use boats in the water at the location , So there should be no issues with boat use in the lake.
