You can swim to it from NJ ( I WOULD NOT ADVISE IT), you can take a train to it, you can drive to it, you can walk to it, you can fish by it, but the one thing that is certain is that its a DEAD END so DONT HIT IT! !  Once you get to it you cant go any further but back to where you came.
