Although it is now an quaint campground with cabins, a marina, and tons of outdoor activities to boot; Sampson used to be a bustling military base loaded with recruits, buildings and military vehicles. This museum houses artifacts from it's many years as a Naval and Air Force base. A visit to it's interior during hours it is open is highly recommended as there is no admission fee and the mementos are unique and far ranging. This 6 step Wherigo cartridge will take you on a tour of it's exterior displays. Once completed you will be given the coordinates to the final cache which is located a short walk or drive away...

As of 12/30/2021, this cache has been adopted by Sherminator18. My caching friend SKAJAKS aka JAKSolantern unexpectedly passed away in October 2021. JAKS and I, along with JAKS' son, SpadeNya, my husband, McDoogins, and our geopups Zelda and Rogue, had many fun adventures together over the years. JAKS will be missed and I will be keeping some of his caches alive in his memory.
