Geocache Description:

Eight Hundred Ninetieth in the Famous People (FP) Series - Mary Wells II
This is a traditional micro cache dedicated to Sandbassking & Queen. This location long held the "Oh Well" cache that no longer exists. This site was used by permission and the cache is a familiar container found frequently in the caching world. Log only.... Oh Well.. BYOP.

Mary Esther Wells (May 13, 1943–July 26, 1992) was an American soul, R&B, and pop singer. She was one of the signature voices of the Motown sound, most famous for her 1964 hit "My Guy".

A new song for 1964 became Wells' signature song and her most successful as well. "My Guy", which featured the yearning voice of Wells and the Robinson's infectious lyrics and arrangement, became Wells' greatest hit. Though the song started off slowly, it broke up The Beatles run at the top of the pop charts during the summer of 1964. The song became one of Motown's classics, and even today is used in many films and commercials.

It was at this time that The Beatles openly called Wells their favorite American singer, and invited her to tour with them throughout the United Kingdom. Wells accepted their invitation, and was inspired to record Love Songs to the Beatles, an album featured several songs penned by the British stars.

In keeping with the SBK&Q tradition, we offer this part of the chorus from a Mary Well's song:
What two can easily do, what two can easily do
Is so hard to be done by one

These coordinates were originally determined with an eTrex Legend Cx and an eTrex Vista, under moderate tree cover, averaged over a 15 minute span with a 4.2' accuracy. And they are also within .001 of the original SBK&Q coordinates. This time we used a Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx, but tree cover was thick and accuracy was soft. Best of luck, it's difficult on purpose.

GPSr Accuracy 13.9'
Avoid the use of acronym only logs, logs that only say "Found it" and cut 'n paste logs. You must sign the log to claim the find. No exceptions, no excuses. Blank logs or emoticon only logs may be deleted without notice because we can't tell if you really found it or not unless you write something.
