There are three reasons this cache is cricket related:
1. I used to ride my bike past here years ago (before I lived here) and saw many a family playing cricket in this green space, and often thought I'd like to live somewhere like that.
2. Nearby Allan Davidson oval is a local cricket oval.
3. You'll have to find the cache - no spoilers please!
The cache is hidden out of sight but by moving something in plain view the cache will reveal itself.
There is no need to go into the canal or over any fences to find this cache. Touching a fence may help!
Cache is a film canister, so little to no room for swaps / TBs, sorry. You will need to BYO writing implement.
This cache replaces my previous cache, Cricket Hat Trick, which was hidden about 60m away. Because of the new location and the different type of hide, I've decided it would be more appropriate to archive the old hide and create this new listing.
