SWE: Tullinge villastad

Under slutet av 1800-talet började stockholmare att flytta ut från innerstaden. Villastäder i Stockholms stads utkanter och utanför stadsgränsen började planeras, däribland i Tullinge. Visionen för Tullinge villastad var inte ett samhälle för vem som helst. Hit ville man locka grosshandlare, industrifamiljer, kryddat med konstnärer och artister. Jacob Tegnér, make till den berömde tonsättaren Alice Tegnér antog sig uppdraget att göra Tullinge till en villastad. I marknadsföringen av Tullinge framgick det vilket slags liv man tänkte sig skulle levas i området.

During the late 1800s, the locals moved out from the city center. Villa cities in Stockholm's outskirts and outside the city limits was planned , including in Tullinge. The vision for Tullinge Villastad was not a society for anybody. The purpose was to attract wholesalers , industrial families , seasoned with artists and performers. Jacob Tegner, husband of the famous composer Alice Tegner adopted the mission to make Tullinge to a villa city. In marketing Tullinge showed that the kind of life they imagined to be lived in the area.
