Container is a standard sized, square container which has been spray painted camo. Container is on the ground and should be easy to locate using the hint. It contains Canada themed items and a log book.
Be careful of the thorn bushes and thorn trees. Please do not park at the crest of the hill or at the very base of the hill. There is plenty of space to park safely off on the side of the road and clear of the hill.
If you walk down off the old road bed, around the larger bushes, you will have a clear unobstructed view. Locate "Little Island" (the small island that looks like it has 3 or 4 Palm trees on it). Facing Little Island, consider this the 12:00 position on the face of a clock.
The ridge in the distance are the LaCloche Mountains. The large bay to your right is Mudge Bay.
At 1:00 position you will see Harbour Island (small to medium sized island).
At the 3:00 position you will see Gooseberry Island (small island).
Beyond Gooseberry Island in the distance you will see the highway (Hy 540) to Little Current. Little Current is down the channel to the right.
On the far ridge towards the 4:00 position you will see a series of wind turbines.
Note: The Twp has now blocked off the old road where you used to be able to park at this cache. If you continue past the cache location and continue down the hill approx 100m, there is a spot on the left (west) side of the road where you can pull off and safely park your vehicle. (May 2019)
