I have been eying this park for a while, and my fellow caching friends have commented on how there should be caches here! Well I finally decided to do something about it. The theme is based on the unusual activity taking place in the park. You may or may not find crop circles, strange lights at night, and the occasional whir of something flying past your head. Please use caution as you explore the park, you never know what you might encounter! Park is open during daylight hours only.
Please do NOT add swag to this cache or it will become confusing. Thank you!
Unless it is raining or the park is flooded, you should not need to get wet to find this letterbox.
From the posted coords, walk north toward two oaks and a pine, and then walk another 25-30 paces. Turn left & walk 50 paces. Then turn left & walk 20 paces. You will know you are in the right area if you see the number 18 nearby. Turn right heading west & walk 100 paces (about 240 feet) between the cattails.
Now the tricky part - Go about 15 - 20 paces into the brush on your right (you should not need to do much bushwhacking though, it's mostly open). Look for two large pines joined at their base; these trees will be between you and the road. On the northwest side of these two pines you will find the letterbox at the base.
When you find it, please try to be discreet, you might have muggles nearby and not even realize it.
