We have approached the geocache location by both the east and west sides of the island, and neither is very easy! It helps to have someone man the boat while a team ventures into the wilderness that is Johnson Island. Sneakers or some type of shoe is a must (DO NOT WEAR SANDALS!!) as the island is full of vines, barbs, brambles, dead tress, and spider webs (just to name a few of the obstacles). If you attempt this geocache in the summer, you will face thickets of vegetation and will have limited visibility. The cache is located in a fairly obvious structure, and has been made more secure so that it will last longer than one season! There are a number of items left behind in the cache, and even some money for the FTF! Just make sure the lid is secure when you leave so no critters climb inside to surprise the next set of thrill seeker. Best of luck on your attempt to find Johnson's Fire - Part Deux....safe journey!!
