The Ando were a Ando house is the famous landlord family of Kakunodate from the Edo period. They made a miso and soy sauce using the peasants rice, and had sold it. Previously, they had been operating pawn shops and the wholesale of tobacco. But now, they are mainly the manufacture and sale of miso, soy sauce, pickles.
Head office is a brick built Tatami-mat warehouse, which was built in the Meiji era mid-term, has been known as a designated cultural property of kakunodate. Interior is open to the public free of chargeu from 08:30 to 17:00.

安藤家は，江戸時代から知られる角館の地主で，小作米を使って味噌や醤油を作り，販売していました。以前は質屋やたばこの卸業も営んでいましたが，現在は味噌醤油，漬け物の製造を中心に行っています。
本店は，明治時代中期に建てられたレンガ造蔵座敷で，角館町指定文化財として知られています。内部は8:30から17:00まで無料で公開されています。
