This is a cache with a view over the north end of Cunningsburgh and, with a little walk further along the hill, down to the south with Mousa in the background. The cache is placed near the Scottish Water facility near the top of the hill.
As a child this was a favourite walk for picking wild flowers and playing in the burn and it would make a great picnic spot on a fine day.
The easiest access to this cache is by going up the North Cunningsburgh Peat Hill Road/track which leaves the main A970 road to the left just before the village hall when travelling from the south. There is vehicle access up until the small bridge (often a locked gate further up the road so best to leave the car just before the bridge) but it is a beautiful walk so we recommend leaving the car at the industrial buildings on the way in the road or at the village hall and take a walk along the track, over the little bridge and up the hill.
