Welcome to Big Valley!! Geocaching has become our favorite family activity, so we wanted to hide one near our home to encourage others to join the fun. We have learned from experience that kids like larger caches the best so this cache is medium sized. It should be a quick, family friendly find.
Big Valley is nestled in the mountains of central Pennsylvania and includes the beautiful small community of Belleville where this geocache is located. We have started it off with some special swag for the geo-kids as well as a small bonus for the first to find! It's very near the street so no need to venture too far into the yard. There are a few other caches in town as well so we hope you will enjoy the local sights while you increase your smiley count. Belleville is a rural town with a large Amish and Mennonite community. The area is especially known for the Farmers Market and Auction that occurs on Wednesdays from March through November. Please be cautious, particularly on sale day, as you will be sharing the road with many Amish buggies.
