In order to secure permission to place this geocache within this park, I am required to place the following message from the Management Board of the North Austin MUD 1 Park District on this Cache’s page:
“All Geocachers are welcomed to come to Robinson Park and look for this geocache. However, please be aware of the fact that Robinson Park is privately owned and is to be respected as such. Geocachers are not to do any harm to any of the park’s equipment or plant life. All other park rules and posted park hours are to be obeyed!”
My First Hide!!! Hopefully my first of many!!! I have been enjoying the hunt for Geocaches since March of 2014. During my hunt, I couldn’t help but notice that most of the geocaches I’ve found tend to be of the Micro or Nano size. Please do not misunderstand me, I very much enjoy the challenge of finding caches of these sizes. I also continue to be amazed at the level of creativity my fellow geocachers display in hiding their caches! But a simple fact is, geocaches of the micro and nano size are not good for SWAG and Travel Bugs!!! Thus for the first geocache I’ve made, I want to help increase the number of SWAG and Travel Bug worthy caches that are out there!
This geocache also serves as a “Starbase” for the first travel bug I have released for “exploration”. DAF's Defiant Class Explorer. Tracking #: 9PMAEP/TB7FFZ4 Please feel free to check my travel bug’s progress, and help it continue on its mission of exploration if you happen to encounter it.
This geocache is located close to a hiking and biking trail, in this park. It is also not far from a playground. Lots of muggles may be in the area at any time the park and trail are open. Please use stealth and good judgement when approaching this cache.
Congratulations to j2dad for being FTF!!
