Geocache Description:

We recently enjoyed watching the movie Paper Towns on HBO. This was the first time we ever heard of the term "Paper Towns". A paper town is a fake town sometimes created by map makers and inserted into a map to protect their copyright.

This is a mystery cache. The cache is not hidden at the posted coordinates.

Beatosu and Goblu are two non-existent Ohio towns in Fulton County and Lucas Counties, respectively. They were inserted into the 1978 --1979 official State of Michigan map. The names refer to the slogan of the University of Michigan ("Go Blue!") and a reference to their arch rivals from the Ohio State University (OSU).  Any experienced geocacher should be able to locate these towns and determine their coordinates.

In order to find this cache take the two-digit MINUTES part of the North and West coordinates of Goblu and use them in the following calculation:

A = Minutes from Goblu’s latitude (N xx XX.xxx)
B = Minutes from Goblu’s longitude (W xxx. XX.xxx)

The final coordinates for this mystery cache are:

N 42 17. (4 * A + 31)
W 083 48. (21 * B + 8)
